An Israeli property company and several partners are said to have agreed a deal to buy 47 hotels in the UK for more than £1bn (€1.5bn).

It is understood Delek Real Estate secured a US$2.1bn (€1.6bn) deal to buy the Marriott hotels from Royal Bank of Scotland.
