Irish business federation IBEC has estimated that economic growth is likely to have exceeded 6% in 2006, following publication of National Accounts data for the third quarter of the year by the CSO today.
The data also provided welcome evidence of recovery in the external sector of the economy with manufacturing and exports performing strongly.
