Small gains for ISEQ

There was small gains in early trading on the Irish Stock Exchange today, with the ISEQ index up 7.71 points by 11.45am.

There was generally good news for the financials, with all but Irish Life & Permanent (down 6c to €20.99) making gains. Chief among them was Bank of Ireland, which jumped 17c to €17.27. Meanwhile, Anglo Irish Bank and Allied Irish Banks both crept up 2c to €15.45 and €22.73 respectively.
