The ISEQ lost 9.76 points to close at 8917.15 today.

Anglo Irish Bank gained 17c to €15.44 while Allied Irish Bank climbed 4c to €21.49.

Irish Life and Permanent gained 10c to €19.75, while Bank of Ireland closed down 5c at €16.65.
