ICTU says Budget is a ‘mixed bag’

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is calling the Budget 'a mixed bag'.

General Secretary David Begg has welcomed moves to exclude people on the minimum wage from the tax net, but said Minister for Finance Brian Cowen should have done more to adjust tax credits and less to tax rates.
