National Irish Bank today announced a pre-tax loss of €4.3m for the nine months to the end of September.

National Irish Bank today announced a pre-tax loss of €4.3m for the nine months to the end of September.

The bank said today that the loss was down to a "substantial investment in new technology, training and the introduction of new products and services".
