Major deal for green fuel producer

A leading biodiesel producer celebrated a milestone today with a major deal to supply green fuel to the UK’s largest independent refiner of crude oil.

Middlesbrough-based D1 Oils will produce 24,000 tonnes of biodiesel for Petroplus Refining Teesside, which plans to mix the fuel with mineral diesel and supply it to petrol stations under the Bio-plus brand.
