Bright morning for ISEQ

The ISEQ enjoyed a positive morning of trading today, climbing 44.18 to 8247.05 by 11.05am.

The financials reflected the overall optimistic mood, particularly Irish Life & Permanent who shot up an impressive 52c to €19.70. The rest were all up, with Allied Irish Bank climbing 11c to €21.10. Bank of Ireland (up 10c to €15.50) and Anglo Irish Bank (up 9c to €13.08) also showed positive movement.
