Rolls-Royce today agreed to supply engines to China’s Hainan Airlines in a deal which could be worth more than $500m (€393m).

Rolls-Royce today agreed to supply engines to China’s Hainan Airlines in a deal which could be worth more than $500m (€393m).

The AE 3007 engines will be used to power a fleet of 50 aircraft bought by Hainan from Brazilian planemaker Embraer.

Rolls said the deal was for more than 100 engines and included a long-term servicing agreement with deliveries due to start next year.
