Roche calls for enforcement of building code standards

The Minister for the Environment has called for more active enforcement of building code standards.

Dick Roche is writing to each City and County Manager to get them to step up inspections and controls.

He said it's particularly important in the interests of consumer protection as we are now building on an unprecedented scale.
