Increase in numbers employed in construction industry

The number of people employed in the construction sector in Ireland had increased by more than 2.5% in April of this year compared to the same period in 2005.

The Central Statistics Office also revealed this afternoon that manufacturing prices rose by just over half a percent in May of this year.
