High oil prices have €9m effect on Fyffes

Fyffes expects that increasing oil prices will impact on its 2006 full-year results to the tune of €9m.

The group says that a ‘significant increase’ in the cost of shipping fuel was higher than expected, and is not being recovered under current selling prices.
