‘Wage restraint needed to protect competitiveness’

The Small Firms Association is calling for wage restraint during 2006 in order to protect the competitiveness of Irish businesses.

In its spring statement, the Association says the outlook for the year is positive, with unemployment expected to remain low and the economy expected to grow by 4.75%.
