Workers to be offered second vote on Jacobs survival plan
Workers at the Jacobs Fruitfield plant in the Tallaght area of Dublin are expected to be given a second chance to accept the company's survival plan at a meeting later today.
Yesterday, company management threatened to shut down the factory in a matter of weeks after the 300-strong workforce rejected changes in work practices put forward in an effort to reduce costs.
