Ahern urges NI MPs to engage on economy

Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern today urged all Northern Ireland politicians to engage in talks about the economic future of the island.

Mr Ahern said that in his 16 months in the post he had rarely discussed the economic and social well-being of people on either side of the border with northern representatives.
