Low-cost airline easyJet said today that it carried 11.2% more passengers last month than a year ago, but added its planes were less full.

Low-cost airline easyJet said today that it carried 11.2% more passengers last month than a year ago, but added its planes were less full.

The budget airline, which has its main base at Luton, said 2.3 million people flew on its planes during January – boosting the figure to 30.5 million across a 12 month period.
