The ISEQ index of Irish shares edged closer to the 7500 barrier today, rising 47.41 points to 7491.21.
None of the financials recorded losses today. AIB rose 22c to €18.40, Anglo Irish Bank recorded 20c to €12.85 and Irish Life and Permanent gained 10c to €17.25.
