BT increases broadband speeds

BT Ireland today announced that it is increasing the speed of its broadband products and introducing a new lower priced product to attract first time broadband consumers.

The changes in speed will see both of BT's existing broadband products automatically increase by 1Mb each to 2Mb and 3Mb respectively at no extra charge to customers.
