The ISEQ index of shares slipped into negative territory this morning, losing 7.01 points to 7519.12 in early trading.
It was a bad morning for the financials. Anglo Irish was worst hit, sliding 10c to €13. Irish Life & Permanent was down 5c to €16.75, while AIB was down 1c to €18.25. Bank of Ireland was unchanged at €13.57.
