ESRI reports slight fall in private-sector job vacancies

The Economic and Social Research Institute has reported a slight fall in the number of private firms with job vacancies last month when compared with the figures for November.

The think-tank said a monthly survey it carries out in conjunction with FAS found that 16% of companies had vacancies in December, down from 19% in November.
