The ISEQ index of Irish shares broke through a significant milestone today, finishing up 32.39 points to 7518.61 by the end of day's trading.
The financials sector all recorded positive gains today. Irish Life and Permanent gained the most, finishing up 44c to €17.21. Anglo Irish Bank also made heavy gains, finishing up 25c to €13.20.
