The ISEQ index of Irish shares ended the week on a positive note, finishing up 16.68 points to 7486.22 and the end of day's trading.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares ended the week on a positive note, finishing up 16.68 points to 7486.22 and the end of day's trading.

The majority of the financial heavyweights rallied this afternoon to finish in positive territory. Bank of Ireland made the biggest gains, up 14c to €13,82. Both AIB and Anglo Irish Bank rose 3c to €18.44 and €12.98 respectively.
