Publishers unite to capitalise on Olympics buzz

Specialist information publisher Electric Word today announced the takeover of rival Sport Business Group for £2.74m (€4m).

Electric Word, which is based in London, said the acquisition of Sport Business would be “highly complementary” – especially if interest in sport grows during the run-up to the London Olympics in 2012.
