A leading Irish haulage company has said its trucks will not be using the new Kilcock/Kinnegad bypass because of the high tolls on the road.

A leading Irish haulage company has said its trucks will not be using the new Kilcock/Kinnegad bypass because of the high tolls on the road.

Motorists will have to pay a €2.50 toll to use the road.

Howley Transport said today that it would not be using the bypass as the toll would cost it €120,000 every year.
