Cork-New York service cancelled due to fuel costs

A travel agency has cancelled plans to launch a new service between Cork and New York due to spiralling international fuel prices.

Slattery's Travel was planning to begin the transatlantic service next month, but said it had abandoned the plan as fuel costs meant the fares would have been too high.
