Permanent TSB defends staff cuts

Permanent TSB has defended its cost-cutting decision to reduce staff and claims the move won't affect the quality of service it provides.

The bank wants to assign 20 managers to two banks each, saying this has been made possible with new efficiency measures which reduce its managers' workloads.
