Belfast set for multi-million high tech venture capital fund

Alan Hevesi, the controller of the New York state pension fund, has announced this afternoon there is to be an $8m (€6.5m) investment in a high-tech venture capital fund in Belfast.

He believes the fight for fair employment between Protestants and Catholics in the North has taken significant strides forward in recent times.

Mr Hevesi is also confident employment equality is enforced in the North.
