IFA seeks Govt support for farmers involved in forestry

The Irish Farmers Association has called on the Government to provide support to farmers involved in forestry.

The association said today that it believed there was huge growth potential in forestry due to the popularity of timber frame houses and the potential use of wood as an alternative to fossil fuels.
