ISEQ slips in morning trading
The ISEQ has slipped slightly in early trading in Dublin today, falling 8.85 to stand at 6,038.51 by mid-morning.
Banking shares have been mixed. Allied Irish Bank shares have fallen 2c €16.43 while Bank of Ireland shares have dropped 9c to €12.30.
Anglo Irish Bank shares are unchanged so far at €9.80 while Irish Life & Permanent has climbed 3c to €13.23.
Elsewhere building group Kingspan has climbed in trading today after it announced it had purchased British group Advanced Thermal Composites for £20m (€29m). Shares in Kingspan are up 9c to €9.25.
Broadcaster Ulster TV shook hands today on a £98.2m (€144.5m) offer for the owner of talkSPORT radio. Shares in UTV are unchanged in Dublin today at €7.40.
Shares in budget airline Ryanair have climbed 10c today to €5.73.
One of the big winners so far is Jurys Doyle Group,, up 29c to €13.65.
The most traded shares today are Jury's, Ryanair, Bank of Ireland, CRH and Allied Irish Bank.
