Almost one in four homes is now "mobile-only", with no fixed line phone, according to a new survey.

The study of 1,000 people aged between 15 and 74 by the Commission for Communications Regulations (ComReg) found the trend toward mobile-only homes existed predominantly among younger age groups and lower income groups.
