ICM Group reaches price agreement with sheep farmers
Sheep farmers have reached agreement with the Irish Country Meats Group over prices for their produce.
Protests at the ICM plants in Camolin in Wexford and Navan in Meath have now been lifted.
Production is resuming at both factories this afternoon.
The company has agreed a price of €4.75, plus a six cent per kilo bonus for U grades into next week.
The agreement also covers hoggets at the same price level which applied before the protest.
Protests are continuing outside four other factories - Kepak in Hacketstown and Athleague, Dawn Meats in Ballyhaunis, and Kildare Chilling in Kildare.
