Transport Minister Martin Cullen is reportedly set to bring proposals before the cabinet next week that will see the Government selling a majority share in Aer Lingus to private investors.

Reports this morning said the privatisation, which is part of a comprehensive overhaul of the aviation sector, could be completed by the end of this year and could raise €300m for the state.
