Ireland’s inflation rate fell slightly last month, despite an overall increase in prices, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

Ireland’s inflation rate fell slightly last month, despite an overall increase in prices, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said average prices increased by 0.8% in February, but because a similar increase was recorded in the same month last year, the annual inflation rate actually fell to 2.2%.
