Donegal Creameries 2004 profits 'substantially down'

The profits of Donegal Creameries will be substantially below market expectations for 2004, the co-op announced today.

Difficult trading conditions continued into the second half of the year, principally due to high milk procurement costs relative to market returns, particularly in Northern Ireland, the co-op said.
