Ireland's inflation rate fell to its lowest level in five years last year, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

Ireland's inflation rate fell to its lowest level in five years last year, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said average price increased by 2.2% in 2004, compared to a 3.5% increase in 2003.
