Ryanair announces Luton seat sale
Ryanair celebrated the start of services from a new UK airport base today, by offering 25,000 free seats.
The no-frills Irish carrier is beginning flights from Luton airport in Bedfordshire. It will be flying from Luton to Esjberg in Denmark, Stockholm, Pisa, Venice Treviso, Girona, and Nimes in France.
Launching the sale Ryanair’s chief executive Michael O’Leary said that in 2005 Ryanair would carry 1.5 million passengers on 12 routes to and from Luton.
