Employers face 25% increase in minimum wages

Employers are facing a 25% hike in the minimum wage if a pay request from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions is accepted.

If the Minister for Enterprise, Micheál Martin, allows the increase, it would raise the minimum wage from €7 up to €8.25.
