CCI backs broadband roll-out

The Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) today committed to supporting the second phase of the County and Group Broadband Scheme announced by the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources Noel Dempsey yesterday.

CCI chief executive John Dunne today said "As a vital business competitiveness issue, our chambers around the country have been actively campaigning to improve broadband access for local business for several years."
