ComReg to review Ireland’s use of the radio spectrum
A fresh review of the way Ireland uses her airwaves is underway, with ComReg taking submissions from the public.
Dozens of industries rely on the radio spectrum, from air traffic controllers to the emergency services and mobile phone networks.
It is estimated to be worth up to €2bn to the economy every year.
ComReg is inviting submissions from industry and the public on how to manage it in the future.
