60 enforcement orders served on food businesses last year

Sixty enforcement orders were served on food businesses last year for breaches of hygiene regulations, according to the Food Safety Authority.

The authority said the figure represented a slight drop on the number of enforcement orders issued in 2003, but that they also showed that some companies were still failing to comply with food safety legislation.
