More UK exporters favour joining euro - survey

More British exporters are backing UK membership of the euro than at any point in the last two years, a survey showed today.

Almost half, or 48%, of exporters now believe a British decision to join the single European currency would help their business – up eight percentage points in the last 12 months – while only 11% are against, according to the latest DHL Quarterly Export Indicator poll of 1,000 UK companies.
