Permanent TSB to repay mortgage overcharge error

Permanent TSB, the country's main home loans provider, is to repay more than €600,000 to mortgage customers it has overcharged over the past three years, according to reports today.

According to the Sunday Business Post, Permanent TSB will be sending letters to 1,500 customers in the coming weeks with cheques averaging €400 to reimburse them for being incorrectly charged.
