The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) has claimed that wages in small Irish businesses increased by more than twice the European average in the past 12 months.

ISME said a survey it conducted found that wages in small Irish firms had increased by 6% in the past year, compared to a euro-zone average of 2.5%.
