ISME slams postal strike

ISME has described the announcement of a postal strike next Wednesday as a body blow to small businesses in the build up to the busy Christmas period.

ISME chief executive Mark Fielding said: “The decision by the Communications Workers Union (CWU) is the last thing small business needs and will have a serious impact on firms, many of whom depend on the postal service to make and receive payment for goods and services.
