Daily Mail group enjoys 26% profit rise

British newspaper group Daily Mail & General Trust today announced a rise of 26% in annual profits after benefiting from strong performances across all its businesses.

The company, which publishes the Daily Mail, the Mail on Sunday and the London Evening Standard, said its British national newspapers achieved “excellent growth”, while its exhibitions business also experienced a much better year.
