M&S begins 20% sale

Marks & Spencer cut 20% off its prices time today as the high street retailer stepped up its battle to attract Christmas shoppers.

The sale covers shops in Ireland as well as the UK although some offers on some products may not be available in Ireland.

The latest one-day promotion, covers more than 50% of products. M&S said its first 20% promotion last month was so successful that it had decided to repeat the exercise.
