Vodafone admits to further overcharging
Vodafone has admitted it has overcharged more than half a million customers by a total of €2.36m.
It emerged as the mobile phone company was reviewing it's billing system in the wake of a previous overcharging revelation in June.
Customers affected are those who use WAP services, or access the internet using their mobile phones.
Vodafone has apologised, and is reimbursing customers and is giving those affected additional credit as compensation.
The Communications Regulator has said it is dismayed at the latest revelations.
Isolde Goggin of ComReg has said it is time for companies to restore trust in the billing systems.
