Supermarket bosses facing questions about grocery prices

Executives from Tesco and Superquinn are due to appear before an Oireachtas committee today to answer questions about the prices they charge for their products.

The Oireachtas committee on Enterprise and Small Enterprise is seeking to establish whether the Groceries Order Act, which bans below-cost selling, is benefiting consumers in general.
