New Gatwick-Qatar service to start

A new London-Middle East air service is to start next month, it was announced today.

Qatar Airways is starting daily flights between Gatwick and the Qatar capital of Doha on November 26.

The new flights, operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft, will complement Qatar Airways’ existing double daily flights between Heathrow and Doha.

Meanwhile, low-fare carrier easyJet is to start daily services between Stansted Airport and Grenoble in the French Alps on January 5, 2005.

One-way fares will start at £22.99 (€33.40).
