ISEQ down in early trading

The ISEQ index of shares shed 8.34 points in early trading to 5,621.94.

While many share prices remained stagnant, the banks suffered losses. AIB lost 7c to €13.35, Bank of Ireland lost 10c to €11.25, while Anglo Irish remained unchanged at €14.80, as did Irish Life & Permanent at €13.10.
